What we collect

  • Order information: your name, billing and delivery address, email address, phone number (if given), the items you buy and your order history. Payments are processed by our payment providers; we do not see or store your full card details.
  • Account information: if you create a customer account, your login details and saved addresses.
  • Marketing preferences: whether you have agreed to receive our emails, and records of the emails we send you and whether they are opened or clicked.
  • Customer service information: messages you send us and our replies.
  • Reviews: reviews and photos you choose to submit about products you have bought.
  • Website and device information: your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed and how you arrived at our site, collected through cookies and similar technologies.

How we use it, and our lawful basis

  • To process and deliver your order, send order and despatch confirmations and handle returns: necessary to perform our contract with you.
  • To keep accounting and tax records: necessary to comply with our legal obligations.
  • To send you marketing emails about our products and offers: with your consent, or, if you have bought from us, under the existing-customer rules in regulation 22(3) of the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 for similar products. Every marketing email contains an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time.
  • To prevent fraud, keep our website secure and improve our products and services: our legitimate interests.
  • To measure and personalise advertising using non-essential cookies: with your consent.

We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing that have legal or similarly significant effects.

Who we share it with

We do not sell, rent or exchange your personal information. We share it only with service providers who act on our instructions, including:

  • Shopify, which hosts our online store, and our payment providers (including Shopify Payments and PayPal);
  • Cloud Commerce Pro, our order-processing system, and our delivery companies, such as Royal Mail and Evri;
  • Brevo, which sends our marketing emails;
  • Loox, which collects product reviews;
  • Google, Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and other advertising and analytics partners, through cookies where you have allowed them;
  • providers of our IT, hosting and email services.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it or to protect our legal rights.

International transfers

Some of our service providers, such as Shopify, store or process data outside the UK, including in Canada and the United States. Where this happens, the transfer is protected by an adequacy decision or by appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.

How long we keep it

  • Order and invoice records: six years from the end of the financial year in which the order was placed, as required for tax purposes.
  • Marketing records: until you unsubscribe. After that we keep your email address only on a suppression list, so that we do not contact you again.
  • Customer service messages: up to two years after the matter is resolved.
  • Cookies: for the periods shown in our cookie settings and your browser.

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
